Frank In Geometry Maps Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last few hours playing Frank In Geometry Maps, and I've got to say, it's been a bit of a wild ride. At first, I wasn't really sure what to expect - the game's title doesn't exactly give away what it's all about, and the screenshots I'd seen looked kinda confusing. But hey, I'm always up for trying something new, so I dove in and started playing. The game drops you into this weird, geometric world where you've got to navigate through all these crazy maps, each one more mind-bending than the last.
The gameplay's actually pretty simple - you control this little character, Frank, as he moves through the maps, trying to reach the exit. Sounds easy, right? But here's the thing: the maps are full of all these weird obstacles and puzzles that you've got to solve to progress. Some of them are pretty straightforward, but others are seriously tricky, and I found myself getting stuck more than once. The good news is that the game's got a really gentle learning curve, so even when I did get stuck, I never felt like I was getting frustrated - I just had to think about it for a bit, and then I'd figure it out.
One of the things that really stood out to me about Frank In Geometry Maps is the visuals. The game's got this really distinctive, low-poly art style that's kinda reminiscent of old-school video games, but at the same time, it's also got this super modern, sleek feel to it. The colors are all really bright and bold, and the maps are all full of these weird, geometric shapes that are just cool to look at. The soundtrack's also pretty great - it's all this electronic, ambient music that's just perfect for chillin' out and playing the game.
As I played through the game, I started to notice that some of the maps were getting really, really hard. I'm talking, like, ridiculously hard - I'd be stuck on the same level for 20 minutes, trying to figure out how to get past this one obstacle. And at first, that was kinda frustrating - I mean, who wants to get stuck on the same level for that long? But the thing is, the game's got this really satisfying feeling to it when you finally do figure out the solution to a puzzle. It's like, yeah, I did that - I'm a genius! And that feeling's what kept me coming back for more, even when the game was getting really tough.
But even with all the positives, I've got to say that Frank In Geometry Maps isn't perfect. One of the things that bugged me was the lack of a real storyline - I mean, I'm just this character, Frank, moving through these maps, but I've got no idea why I'm doing it, or what the point of it all is. It's not a huge deal, but it would've been nice to have some kind of narrative to tie everything together. Also, the game's a bit on the short side - I was able to play through the whole thing in just a few hours, which was a bit disappointing.
Overall, though, I'd say that Frank In Geometry Maps is definitely worth checking out. It's a really unique, really challenging game that's just a lot of fun to play. The visuals are great, the soundtrack's awesome, and the puzzles are just the right amount of tricky. If you're a fan of puzzle games, or just looking for something new to try, I'd definitely recommend giving Frank In Geometry Maps a shot. Just be prepared to get stuck - a lot!
