I just spent the last weekend playing Haunted Inn and I've got to say, it was a pretty wild ride. I'd seen the game advertised on social media a few times, and the concept of exploring a creepy abandoned hotel really drew me in. I mean, who doesn't love a good horror game, right? So, I decided to take the plunge and download it. The game's got a pretty small file size, so it didn't take long to get started.

At first, I was a bit skeptical about the graphics. They're not super realistic or anything, but as I started playing, I realized that the game's got a really cool, retro vibe going on. The hotel's all dark and atmospheric, with creepy sounds and flickering lights everywhere. It really adds to the tension and makes you feel like you're actually exploring a haunted place. The controls are pretty straightforward too, which is good because I hate it when games have complicated controls that take ages to get used to.

As for the gameplay, it's basically what you'd expect from a horror game. You explore the hotel, find clues and pieces of a story, and try to uncover the mystery behind the haunting. There are some jump scares, of course, but they're not too overdone. I mean, I still screamed a few times when something suddenly appeared out of nowhere, but it was all in good fun. The game's also got a few puzzles to solve, which were pretty challenging at times, but not so hard that they got frustrating.

One thing that really impressed me about Haunted Inn was the story. I don't want to give too much away, but it's really well-written and has some great twists and turns. I found myself actually caring about the characters and wanting to know what happened to them, which is pretty rare in a horror game. The voice acting's also top-notch, which really adds to the immersion. My only complaint is that the game's a bit on the short side. I finished it in about 5 hours, which felt a bit rushed. I would've loved to have had more time to explore the hotel and uncover all its secrets.

Despite the short length, I'd still definitely recommend Haunted Inn to fans of horror games. It's a really fun, creepy experience that's perfect for playing on a dark night with the lights off. Just be prepared for a few sleepless nights afterwards, because this game will definitely leave you with some creepy imagery stuck in your head. The developers have also said that they're planning to release some DLC in the future, which could potentially add more content to the game and make it feel more complete.

Overall, I'm really glad I gave Haunted Inn a try. It's a great little horror game that's perfect for casual gamers like me who just want to have some fun and get a few scares. It's not perfect, but it's definitely worth playing, especially if you're a fan of the genre. So, if you're looking for a new horror game to play, I'd definitely say give Haunted Inn a shot. Just don't say I didn't warn you...
