I just spent the last few hours playing People Drop Away Game, and I have to say, it's been a wild ride. At first, I was a bit skeptical about the whole concept - I mean, the title doesn't exactly give away what the game is about, right? But I'd seen some streams of it online and thought, why not, let's give it a shot. The gameplay itself is pretty simple: you're basically just trying to navigate a series of increasingly difficult levels while, well, people drop away around you. It sounds weird, I know, but trust me, it's actually pretty addictive.

One of the things that really caught my attention was the atmosphere of the game. The graphics are pretty minimalist, but in a good way - it's all just simple shapes and colors, but it works really well with the music and sound effects to create this super tense, anxious feeling. I mean, you're just trying to make it to the end of the level without getting too distracted by all the, well, people dropping away, and it's actually pretty intense. I found myself getting really invested in it, even though it's not like it's a super complex game or anything.

Now, I do have to say, there are a few things that bugged me about the game. For one thing, the controls can be a bit wonky at times - I'd be trying to jump or move to the side, and my character would just kind of... stick, I guess. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was definitely frustrating at times. And also, the levels can get a bit repetitive after a while - I mean, it's not like there's a huge amount of variety in terms of gameplay or anything. You're basically just doing the same thing over and over, with slightly increasing difficulty. That being said, I still found myself wanting to keep playing, just to see how far I could get.

I think part of the reason I kept playing was because of the sense of progression, I guess. As you complete levels, you unlock new characters and things, which is always nice. And the game does a good job of making you feel like you're actually getting better, even when you're not - like, you'll have a few bad runs, but then you'll suddenly get a good one, and it feels amazing. It's a pretty clever way to keep players engaged, and it definitely worked on me. I found myself playing for hours, just trying to beat my previous scores and unlock new stuff.

Despite its flaws, I'd definitely say that People Drop Away Game is worth checking out. It's not going to win any awards for originality or anything, but it's just a really fun, weird little game that's definitely worth a try. And who knows, you might find yourself getting as addicted as I did - just be prepared to get frustrated at times, and don't say I didn't warn you. Overall, I'd say it's a solid 7 or 8 out of 10 - it's not perfect, but it's definitely a fun way to pass the time, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a new game to try out.

All in all, I'm glad I gave People Drop Away Game a shot - it's definitely not for everyone, but if you're in the mood for something a bit different, I'd say it's worth a try. Just don't expect too much in terms of complexity or depth, and you'll be fine. And who knows, you might even find yourself enjoying it as much as I did - just don't blame me when you're up at 3am trying to beat your high score.
