Police Chase Car Simulator Review & Gameplay Guide
So I just spent the last few hours playing Police Chase Car Simulator and I've got to say, it's a pretty mixed bag. On the one hand, I love the idea of getting to drive a bunch of different cop cars and chasing down bad guys - it sounds like a blast, and it is, for a little while at least. The graphics are pretty decent, not amazing or anything, but they get the job done. The cars look pretty cool and the environments are varied enough that you don't get bored driving through the same old streets over and over again.
But, on the other hand, the gameplay is just so repetitive. You're basically just driving around, chasing after the same old generic "criminals" who are all just driving in straight lines. I mean, I get it, it's not like the devs are trying to create some super realistic simulation or anything, but come on, a little variety would be nice. Sometimes the bad guys will take a turn or something, but it's always just a gentle curve, never anything that really challenges you. And don't even get me started on the AI - it's like the other cars on the road are just ghosts or something, they just drive through you like you're not even there.
I also have to say, the sound design is pretty lacking. The engines all sound the same, the sirens are just a generic "nee-naw" noise, and the crashes are just a bunch of tin cans falling over. I mean, I'm not asking for much, just a little bit of effort would be nice. And the music? Ugh, it's just some generic techno nonsense that gets stuck in your head and drives you crazy after a while. I ended up turning it off after like 20 minutes.
Despite all my complaints, I did have a bit of fun playing Police Chase Car Simulator. Like I said, driving around in cop cars is pretty cool, and there's something satisfying about finally catching up to one of the bad guys and slamming on the brakes. The game's also got a pretty decent customization system, you can upgrade your cars and change the paint jobs and stuff, which is a nice touch. But overall, I just can't help feeling like this game could have been so much more with a bit more effort and attention to detail.
I'm not going to lie, I was expecting a bit more from Police Chase Car Simulator. I mean, the title sounds pretty exciting, and I was hoping for something a bit more intense and action-packed. But what I got was just a pretty generic, casual driving game with a police theme. It's not bad or anything, it's just...there. If you're a huge fan of cop games or something, you might get a kick out of it, but for the rest of us, it's just not really worth it.
All in all, I'd say Police Chase Car Simulator is an okay way to kill some time if you're bored or something, but it's not really a game that's going to keep you coming back for more. I mean, I played it for a few hours, but now that I've written this review, I don't really feel like playing it again. Maybe if they add some more features or something, I'll give it another shot, but for now, I'm just going to stick with something else.
