Yummy Churros Ice Cream 2 Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last hour playing Yummy Churros Ice Cream 2 and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. I mean, the game is exactly what it says on the tin - you make and serve ice cream, with a focus on churros, which is kinda cool, I guess. The gameplay is super simple, you just drag and drop different ice cream flavors and toppings onto a cone, and then serve it to customers. It sounds boring, but it's actually pretty addictive.
The graphics are pretty cute, the ice cream looks great and the churros are so detailed I almost wanted to eat my screen. The music is also super catchy, it's this upbeat tune that gets stuck in your head and you can't help but hum along. But, the sound effects are a bit lacking, I mean, when you serve a customer, all you get is this bland "ding" sound, it's not very satisfying. And the customers themselves are just these generic, faceless people, it would be nice if they had a bit more personality.
As you progress through the game, it gets a bit more challenging, you have to serve more customers, and they start getting more and more demanding. They want specific flavors, and toppings, and if you don't deliver, they get upset and leave. It's kinda stressful, but in a good way, it's like a fun little challenge. The game also has these power-ups and upgrades that you can buy with in-game coins, which can help you out a lot. For example, you can buy a machine that automatically adds sprinkles to your ice cream, which is a huge time saver.
One thing that really annoyed me, though, is the in-app purchases. I mean, I get it, the game is free, and the devs need to make money somehow, but it feels like they're pushing it a bit too hard. You can buy in-game coins, and special items, and it feels like you need to spend money to progress through the game. I'm not a fan of pay-to-win games, and this feels like it's heading in that direction. I'm not saying it's impossible to play without spending money, but it's definitely more difficult.
I'm also not sure how long the game will keep me engaged, I mean, it's a pretty simple game, and once you've seen everything, it can get a bit repetitive. I've already unlocked all the ice cream flavors, and toppings, and I'm just serving customers on autopilot at this point. Maybe if they added some new features, or levels, or something, it would keep me interested for longer. As it is, though, I can see myself playing it for a bit, and then forgetting about it.
Overall, Yummy Churros Ice Cream 2 is a fun, casual game that's perfect for playing on the go. It's not going to win any awards, but it's a great way to pass some time, and it's free, so you can't complain too much. If you're into this sort of thing, you'll probably enjoy it, but if you're looking for something more complex, or challenging, you might want to look elsewhere. I'm gonna keep playing it for a bit, but I'm not sure if it'll be a long-term thing for me.
